Patrick Miller

Patrick Miller Patrick Miller was born in Griffith New South Wales on 7th. November 1940. Throughout his childhood Pat displayed great skill and enthusiasm for Art, although he was never formally trained. Due to the demands of raising a young family he didn’t actively pursue his Art until many years later.

Although he currently holds; a full-time job, he is committed to spending every available moment to his Art. He loves to experiment, always trying new techniques, striving to learn more and improve. To make the next painting better than the last!

Pat has always been inspired by our beautiful Australian landscape and by Artist such as Hans Heysen and Arthur Streeton.He enjoys a variety of mediums. However, his favourite is pastels. Pat feels that pastels have the potential to last up to three hundred years. Nothing would be more satisfying, than to have his work still pleasing people in the years to come.Pat has his work displayed in several local galleries and has sold work

Australia wide and internationally. He has been a member of the Australian Pastel Society for the past three and a half years. In 1999 he was awarded the societies second prize and consequently, his work was published in the Australian Artist Magazine. In 2000 and 2001 he won the societies first prize, for most popular artist.
