Dean Poropat
Dean’s artwork can be explained as abstract expressionist. His work is not always what it seems, with colour and form a constant in his pieces. Look carefully and you may discover the inner secrets to each image but according to Dean, the depth of each picture will take each person looking at it in a different direction.
He describes his work as visually challenging. Dean’s latest exhibitions have been at the Science Art Exhibition at Murwillimbah as well as at the Chinese-Australian Science Art Exhibition, where symbolism was the criteria for the artists’ inspiration. His work has also been at the Queensland Regional Art Exhibition as well as private exhibitions at the Art Factory Gallery and at The Front Room.
